Green City Diaries is a monthly series about Detroiters making more sustainable choices. Published in the online magazine Model D, the series is authored by Green Garage librarian Matt Piper and illustrated by photographer Marvin Shaouni. It offers snapshots of Detroit's everyday sustainability heroes, and along the way provides a chronicle of a city in transition.
