Furniture Goals

We wanted to buy as much of our furniture as possible from the US waste stream, in keeping with our goal of 75% of the material coming into the building as repurposed.

Our Furniture

Much of our furniture came from the Detroit Public Schools Warehouse. Items we purchased included:

DPS teacher desks.	Kitchen tables and chairs.	DPS storage cabinet.	DPS metal tool cabinet.
Workbench from DPS.	Lockers from DPS.

Some chairs came from Bargain Office Equipment.com.

Dividers were built by Kelly Windows.

Dividers were made by Kelly Windows. The frames are made from wood and the interior is painted homasote.
